Hi there! I'm Shiny Leung, a self-taught freelance illustrator with a passion for crafting joyful visuals.

My story begins in Buckinghamshire, UK, where I was born to first-generation immigrants from Hong Kong. I kicked off my creative career as a graphic designer at an educational publisher in Oxford. It was there I first got to dabble in the magical world of children’s publishing and illustration—and I was absolutely hooked!

In 2005, I took a leap and moved to Hong Kong, where my design career took me on an adventurous tour of everything from real estate to finance and banking. But through it all, my love for illustration and drawing comics never faded. These days, my sketchbook is filled with my two great loves: mischievous cats and playful caricatures!
